‘The best that they can be’

Community

Our staff and governors work tirelessly to ensure we provide the best possible education for every child who attends our school. We are a community of learners (parents and carers too) who need to work together to ensure every child is given the best possible start in life and are given invaluable support in all that they do to ensure they leave our school knowing how to be responsible, resilient and respectful learners ready to make a positive difference to the world they live in.

Opportunities

We are very proud of the opportunities we provide our children to learn beyond the National Curriculum. These activities enable our children to learn both within and beyond the classroom to enhance their knowledge, broaden their horizons and develop skills they never knew they had!

Responsibility

Our aim is to produce children who are responsible for their environment, for each other, for themselves and for their own academic and personal progress. Children who take responsibility for decisions they make and lead the way forward in the community.

Excellence

We endeavour to foster a belief that all children and staff can achieve excellence in anything they put their mind to and to have high aspirations for themselves and each other. Through the excellent teaching in our classrooms and our strong pastoral support system, we believe every child will be well guided through their time at Northstead and will aim for excellence through the responsible choices they make about their education.

I look forward to welcoming you to our community of learners at Northstead and working alongside you, your child, your family and my staff to ensure your child’s time here at Northstead is full of opportunities, challenges, experiences and memories that enable them to make the best start to their education.
